Monte Sao Miguel is an authentic Alentejaans home, it is the perfect place to unwind amidst an exuberant flora and fauna. Everything exudes simplicity (or have the wealth) of the country life. The house is located in the Alentejo, a region of Portugal where time seems to have stopped. place to de-haste to enjoy the rhythm of nature. here please you still have time to look at a breathtaking sky with only the sound of crickets in the background. Casa Velha, the 'Old House' is the original house. It was built in the style typical of the Alentejo. The thick adobe walls ensure that the house remains cool even in the middle summer and in winter they keep the cold out. Ceilings in the front two bedrooms are in the traditional way of reed, both rooms have windows with shutters that give a view on a mountainside with ferns and oaks. In one of the two rooms is a cot ready for the still small guest. Behind the door there is a hallway that leads to the spacious kitchen. It is equipped with simple but complete comfort: a four-burner stove, microwave and refrigerator. Crockery, cutlery, cookware and coffee maker missing, too. Sometimes, in the early pre-and after-years, can be very pleasant for heating the kitchen. The original fireplace is still intact, but the stove next to it heats the room faster and better. From the kitchen leads into the double bedroom which has patio doors to a private terrace at the back of the house. The kitchen also provides access to the bathroom, with shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin. Here is also the washing machine. Casa Velha is designed for five adults and one child Monte São Miguel is the ideal base for beautiful nature walks. Hours can walk along dirt roads that often ruins the now lapsed farms together. You'll see wells overgrown and neglected fruit trees. Monte São Miguel lies two kilometers from the Gare Amoreiras village with several cafes where you hospitably received for lunch or dinner. (fast) train to stop at the station in Lisbon Fungeras ± 8 km. There are two beautiful lakes, Baragem Da Rocha ± 13 km and Baragem The Santa Clara ± 15 km, which is perfect for picnicking, fishing and you can swim. rugged west coast 'Parque Natural de Vince Tina is ± 45 km away, has an amazing vegetation and between the rugged cliffs you will find the finest sandy beaches that still quiet in the summer.

Modern well presented two bedroom apartment close to the village of Cabanas and within walking distance to Benamor golf course. This ground floor apartment is centrally located and you can walk to the water front of Cabanas from where small fisherman boats bring you to the beautiful beach. The beautiful town of Tavira is 2 miles west from Casas da Praia and is well worth a visit. It is very easy to lose track of time in this lovely old town. Ilha de Tavira, it's famous beach with many small restaurants is only a boat ride away. The beach of Barril in Santa Luzia is also very nice. This beach is accessible by foot or if you don't like to walk, there is a small train that takes you there. There are many more beaches and golf courses to choose from within a few minutes drive. This is a very nice destination all year round. The apartment is tastefully decorated and consist of a living room with an open kitchen / dining area facing the garden area. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/Freezer, toaster, etc. The master bedroom has a large double bed with built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with 2 single beds and another bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed above. There is a good size bathroom with bath. The apartment has air conditioning in the master bedroom and the living room for heating and cooling, TV, DVD player and audio system, double glazing and shutters. Access to the balconies from the kitchen and bedrooms. The owners and their guest can make use of the large roof terrace with beautiful views and the large communal swimming pool and surrounding garden with outside shower.
