Golf (Benamor) a 10 minute drive, beach a short walk to the ferry, kite surfing school on your doorstep, Tavira with all it has to offer is a 10 minute drive. Relax by the pool in the garden by day and enjoy the bars and nightlife in the evening. Situated to the east of Tavira you are 20 or 30 minutes drive from Spain, Faro, Olhão, A great base for exploring the area. Approx 5 minute walk from the apartment to the harbor. You can then take a 3 minute boat ride to the stunning Cabanas beach which has changing rooms, a cafe/bar and sunbeds available to hire. This space includes two independent apartments in an 1898 building, which was completely restored. Given the historical significance of its surroundings where it fits the oldest Porto church, the project was conditioned by architectural preservation obligations. So the final concept was a commitment to fusion the traditional and contemporary architecture. While the main facade illustrates the typical Oporto house in the inside we find open spaces dominated by a zen inspiration, where suspended beds are the centerpieces for a new experience of relaxation. The ultra contemporary bathrooms stand out by using very innovative building materials. The apartments are fully equipped for a stay of great comfort. On the first floor of this building we discover the Priorado Studio, with an interior design that incorporates parts of the original granitic wall texture enhanced with lighting effects that create a unique atmosphere. Its amplitude and its minimalism, generates a feeling of great relaxation and comfort. The sweeping views over the green gardens of Priorado Square (Largo do Priorado) gives a feeling of great openness. The bathroom is lined with innovative building materials generating unusual environmental atmospheres. The apartment is equipped with modern facilities like a LCD 40” Cable tv, high performance air conditioning, combi oven, induction hob, wireless internet and all small appliances. There are one double suspended bed and two large single sofa beds that can form a great double bed. All major destinations are fully covered by subway and day and night buses, but for walk lovers this is the perfect starting point to cover all the east and west city attractions. To the east you can visit the Port Wine Cellars and the medieval quarters, such as Cais da Ribeira, in Douro riverside. On the way, there are attractions such as the arts district (Miguel Bombarda)full of art galleries and trendy shops. Then you can find the OPorto living room (Avenida dos Aliados) where the people of Porto gather to celebrate special times, and the nightlife areas, like the Galerias de Paris street. To the west we have the iconic Casa da Música on the way to Serralves Contemporary Art Museum, the green City Park and the beaches borded by wonderful boardwalks always with great café terraces.
