The house is a pretty cottage built in around 1890 but fully modernized and renovated in recent years. It is located in a quiet and attractive residential area which is predominantly made up of similar houses with gardens and mature trees, just outside the town centre.Its proximity to the centre means that it is just a 10 minute walk to the twice weekly market, the city’s many shops and its multitude of restaurants serving various styles of food for all tastes and budgets. The house is also only a 12 to 15 minute walk from the main line station with fast, direct links to the centre of London.Through the front door is a living/dining room with a comfy leather sofa and chairs and dining for 6 (although the table can extend and take up to 8). There is a LCD TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio/CD player and WiFi. Comfy soft furnishings make this a homely and cosy room.The kitchen is compact but well laid out and has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven/grill, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. It is well equipped with crockery, cutlery and utensils and facilities for cooking.There are two, good sized bedrooms: The master bedroom at the front with king sized bed and plenty of storage space. The second bedroom looks over the back garden and has bunk beds and again, plenty of storage space along with a large built in cupboard.The bathroom is modern with a large bath with shower over. There is also a heated towel rail and under floor heating. Outside, there is a private rear garden about 50 feet long. This is predominantly lawn with a decked area at the rear with garden furniture for 4 and a few flowers and shrubs along the border.On arrival, you will be met by our local manager who will show you around and will be on call during your stay in case of any questions. A welcome hamper will be waiting so that you are able to make a light meal or snack on arrival. There is a travel cot and booster seat available on request. We also provide detergents for the washing machine and dishwasher along with an iron and ironing board.
