Vakantiehuis in Engeland

Engeland is redelijk groot en biedt een variatie aan landschappen, en voor wie van oude kastelen en dorpjes houdt is het erg leuk om het land rond te reizen. Voor wie liever in een stad verblijft is er uiteraard ook genoeg te doen.

Londen is bij verre de populairste bestemming in Engeland, makkelijk te bereiken per auto, trein of vliegtuig en het biedt erg veel te doen. Zo kun je een bezoek brengen aan de bekende historische plekken zoals the Tower Bridge, de Tower of London, het Parlementsgebouw met de Big Ben, je kunt een ritje maken in the Eye of London, het reuzenrad nabij Big Ben, aan de andere kant van de rivier de Theemes. Het wisselen van de wacht van Buckingham Palace is ook indrukwekkend om te zien, let hier ook op de vlaggen op het paleis, word de vlag van de koningin gevoerd? Dan is zij aanwezig op het paleis. Hoewel er tal van bezienswaardigheden zijn in Londen zelf zijn ze gemakkelijk te bereiden door het metrostelsel dat je gemakkelijk overal naartoe brengt voor een hele schappelijke prijs.

Buiten Londen zijn er uiteraard genoeg andere plekken om te bezichtigen hoewel alles wel wat ver uit elkaar ligt, met de auto kun je uiteraard overal komen, maar denk er wel aan dat men in Engeland aan de linker kant van de weg rijdt!
