There are 3 bedrooms, one double, one with 2 singles (best suited as a children room), and a single. There is also a sofa bed downstairs if needed to sleep total of 7. The cottage is fully equipped, and has a wood burning fire. In 2011 Lower Mill Estate won the prestigious award for UK's BEST DEVELOPEMENT. This is a secure, gated, family friendly country estate of the highest quality. NB. PLEASE ALWAYS CONFIRM AVAILABILITY WITH OWNER BEFORE BOOKING?There are many walks around the estate and beyond, as well as a lovely pub and restaurant within easy walking distance. There are some areas of special interest for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers, and also carp, coarse and trout fishing available on the lakes. There is an organic farm shop on the estate selling local organic and general produce. Hot food, firewood and wine. The cottage does have Wi-fi internet access.The pool is heated, and theres also a sauna. Its shared and a short walk from the cottage. There is also a children play area, trampoline, tennis court, cricket nets and picnic area by the pool. Great area for cycle rides and walking, both round the estate and nearby area's.Property is next to the Thames path.The estate is very proud of its untouched nature reserves, and has areas of some significance when it comes to bird and wildlife.Late in 2005 the first European Beavers introduced back into England were released and are thriving in a far corner of the estate.There are viewing hides from where they can be watched.The estate is also home to a wide range of Bird life, from waterfowl to owls.Details of guided walks and the best spots are available from the property or the estate office.There is some excellent fishing on the estate, both coarse fishing and fly fishing.The coarse fishing is specialised and mostly specimen fishing, and the lakes would be classified as 'challenging' and not really suitable for beginners. As a tenant you are able to fish (within the estate fishing rules) details of which are available at the house. The fishing is managed by a permanent tenant on the estate, who will be happy to point you in the right direction, and show you the hotspots.The distance of Railway: Kemble: 5.0 km.

Please feel free to contact me if there is any further information required, I will do my best to answer your questions.Winsbeer Cottage is the middle of 3 cottages on the edge of Buckland Monochorum, surrounded by beautiful countryside.It is a delightful old stone cottage with slate floors on the edge of Dartmoor.There is beautiful views out the back overlooking fields and woodland.The famous Buckland Abbey is a mere 10 minute walk away.The cottage sits between two small villages, each of which offer excellent local food. Key safe with combination lock to enable any time arrival.Feedback from visitors highlight it's ideal location, relaxing environment and home from home facilities.Yelverton is a small town 3 miles away offering all your basic shopping needs.Petrol Station,Post Office, Butcher, CO-OP, Estate Agent Cafe, Chemist, Hairdressers, Independent Store (with an excellent Deli), Doctors Surgery. Tavistock, voted market town 2011, offers an indoor market every day except Sundays, its own website provides details of stalls.Tavistock is less then 8 miles from the cottage. The historical city of Plymouth is ten miles away and can be easily accessed via the park and ride at the George Junction, Roborough .However,there are plenty of car parks within Plymouth. Plymouth offers a range of entertainment for all the family. The Barbican is full of history as well as having a variety of bars,restaurants, small boutiques and marinia with access to boat trips.The cottage is perfect for walkers and is close to Dartmoor. It is a lovely cosy welcome retreat with its wood burner after a long walk. For those days when you just want to chill out - the decking is perfect for its and beautiful views. It is an ideal place for exploring Devon & Cornwall. (Tintangel is within an hour by car)

Ivy Cottage is an exceptionally large two bedroomed cottage. The two bedrooms are on the ground floor and both have en suite shower rooms. The master bedroom has a five foot double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms are large double bedrooms with two bedside cabinets and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and both have three quarter length mirrors on the walls.
The living, dining and kitchen area (some 16′ x 32′) is on the first floor. This single room is the “wow factor” in Ivy. Most visitors are simply delighted the first time they come up the stairs in Ivy.
The first floor has views over the Atlantic north to Lundy Island through one of two full length French windows that look west and north. Traditional scissor trusses dating from the middle of the nineteenth century run the length of the cottage.

The kitchen is a fully equipped and fitted modern kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, washer-drier, dishwasher, fridge and ample storage cupboards. The cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are of a good standard (e.g thick bottomed pans) and are complete matching sets. The kitchen is fully equipped to include such items as garlic crushers and salad spinners.
The dining area has an antique pine table and chairs for four.
The bedroom has two bedside tables, a chest of drawers, a fitted wardrobe and a three quarters length mirror hung on the wall.
Clematis is ideal for romantic getaways with an exceptionally large and beautiful bedroom. A small settee sits by the French windows through which one looks out to Lundy Island and makes an beautiful spot for early morning coffee or tea.
