A safe water feature and small garden pond is home to dozens of fish. There are plenty of recliners and a pergola with table and chairs for outside eating. If you need to be alone, then escape to the lovely summer house/chapel which offers a haven of peace and seclusion and is suitable for one or two people to escape to for private prayer.There are several quiet corners in the garden, where one can be alone, to reflect, read, pray or just meet with God. For a non-residential retreat, the bedrooms can be used for additional haven-space, or for a quiet area for preparation and study. There is a small library of books which can be borrowed throughout the retreat, several of which will aid meditation and reflection.
